The fall here has been so beautiful that I can't resist running out and photographing its color again and again. Yesterday I took these photos of fallen leaves: on a moss covered stone, part of the stone wall bordering the south side of my property, and on the woodland path. The scent in the woods is now the marvelous spicy odor particular to this time of year, possibly caused by the leaves now carpeting the trail.
I love the leaves of the Red Maple.
