Tomorrow is the first night of
Hanukkah, the Festival of Lights, which commemorates a miracle during the rededication of the ancient Temple. I'm heading into NYC today so that I can join my family in our annual Hanukkah party. I'll be away for a few days, seeing family, friends, and art, and will be back early next week, ready to share some of the art I've seen.
Happy Hanukkah, Altoon! We look forward to your return!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the family visit, the festival of lights, and your art viewing. Happy Hanukkah, Altoon!
ReplyDeleteAltoon,
ReplyDeleteJust finished wrapping my gifts for our Chanukah celebration. Looking forward to seeing you
Happy Chanukah
Cheryl
What made you choose your Hanukkah spelling, as opposed to Cheryl's Chanukah spelling?
ReplyDeleteNancy
thank you all for the holiday greetings. We had a lovely party and I had some wonderful art viewing, which I'll share soon. It's great to be home, to a winter landscape.
ReplyDeleteI chose the spelling that the NY Times uses and also Wikipedia.
