Miss Kim, Korean LilacIn another week or so, the gorgeous color that is already showing on the hills, in the garden, on the wooded paths, will reach a crescendo. Today is a gray cold day so I thought I'd post these pictures, taken over the past couple of weeks, to cheer myself up. Surprisingly enough though, fall color always looks more intense on cloudy days: the reds have a deeper glow when not competing with sun.
My dear friend shared with me that this posting lifted her spirits so that it helped get her up dressed and out of the house. I think she was on a quest for color.
